Can the agent be configured to update signatures at logon and then exit?

Yes, when using Email Signature Manager version 7 and later, the agent can be configured to update signatures at logon and then exit.


Open the Deployment Options dialog in Email Signature Manager and enable the option Close the Agent after the first automatic signature installation.


Default this option is disabled and the agent will stay running in the background to update signatures continuously.


The agent is required to ensure email signatures are visible when composing email in Outlook.
